Our puppies are $2,500, which includes: AKC registration paperwork (limited), microchipping, first vet visit/shots, a 2 year health guarantee, and more (outlined below). All of our puppies parents have OFA and genetic clearances as required by the Golden Retriever Club of America.
If you would like to be considered for our waiting list, please complete our Puppy Application Questionnaire. If you are selected to receive one of our puppies, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your position on our list.
While we cannot guarantee when your puppy selection will take place, your approved application and deposit reserves your opportunity to select your puppy based on your list position. (For example, if 9th on our waiting list and we only had 8 puppies in our next litter, you would be bumped to the following litter.)

A $500 deposit is required to hold a puppy ($100 non-refundable to be added to wait list, $400 due when pups are born. The $400 is refundable until puppies are 3 weeks old, non-refundable after that point). As a general rule, puppies will be selected in the order in which deposits are received.
Our exceptions to this rule are simple. First, we always reserve right of first puppy for our family. This does not mean we will always keep first puppy, but that we do keep that as an option.
Pet puppy selection generally takes place between 6-7 weeks of age. Our puppies are ready for their forever homes at 8 weeks of age.
Puppy Process
1. Application
Complete your puppy application. We will review your application within 5 business days and if your application is approved, you will be invited to place your deposit.
2. Deposit
$100 of your $500 deposit is non-refundable, and required up front to be added to our waitlist. Payments can be made via Venmo, Zelle, cash or money-order. Please DO NOT send payment prior to your application being approved or it will be returned to you! The remaining $400 of your deposit is due when pups are born – refundable until the puppies are 3 weeks old.
3. Pupdates
Once your application has been approved and your deposit has been received, you will be added to our email list for “pupdates” on anticipated breeding’s and upcoming litters. Follow us on Instagram for even more updates!
4. Pups Arrival
The remainder of your deposit ($400) is due within one week of your puppy’s birth. Once that is received, you will be given access to regular updates of your pup’s growth and development for eight weeks.
5. Socialization
Your puppy will be regularly handled by both children and adults of all ages. They will be exposed to a variety of sights, sounds, toys and stimulation to help them grow into confident adults. Our puppies socialize with our older dogs each day, and weather permitting, will be exposed to water and swimming.
6. Puppy Selection
There will generally be two opportunities for you to interact in-person with your puppy’s litter. The first visit will be around 4 weeks. The second visit, around 6-7 weeks, will be your opportunity to select your puppy. If you are unable to attend our in-person socialization days, we can arrange a Facebook or Zoom call for you to meet your puppy!
7. Furever Home
Your puppy will be ready to go home at 8 weeks of age. They will be sent home with their first set of shots, vet health check/letter, microchip, lifetime AKC Reunite enrollment, blanket with mom & litter scent, and a binder which includes copies of parents clearances and pedigrees, and information on raising your puppy.
8. Family
Our pups come with more than just a 2 year health guarantee and seller’s contract. When you take home one of our puppies, you become part of the Golden Child Retrievers family. We are always available to answer any questions you may have and would love to interact with your pup as it grows up; we hope you’ll send us lots of pictures, too!
