Golden Child Kennels

Our Puppies
We are a hobby breeder with very limited breeding’s. We believe in raising show quality puppies for companion pet homes.
This means that each of our dogs are AKC registered, have all OFA clearances as required by our membership in the Golden Retriever Club of America, and are free from known hereditary genetic defects, as are the studs we breed them with.
Our dogs are part of our family. They hike with us, play with us, and yes, usually sleep by our beds. They love to give love and be loved. They are exactly what we hoped our goldens would be – the perfect family dogs…

Our Family
We raise Goldens of all colors, sizes, and of various lineage and have found a wonderful uniqueness to each and every one of them.
Golden Child Kennels is a small kennel dedicated to improving the Golden breed. We breed only Golden Retrievers. Our dogs are well socialized and share time in the house as part of our family. We are sure you will be pleased with the quality, integrity, superb trainability and intense desire with each puppy produced here at Golden Child Kennels.
Our sires and dams are AKC registered and OFA (hip, elbows, heart & eyes) certified. Golden Child Kennels’ well-socialized puppies come with AKC registration papers, a written 24-month health guarantee, worming at 3, 5, & 7 weeks, current vaccination shots, micro-chip identification, pictures, certifications and pedigrees of parents, and lots of useful information. They are introduced to sounds, water, textures and toys. The puppies are kept inside in air-conditioned and heated comfort. At six weeks they are allowed to foray outdoors for fun and development. They are eligible to go home at eight weeks of age.

Our Breed
These girls Sadie, Oakley, and Dakota represent what every Golden Retriever lover knows – these dogs adore their humans… and their personalities take many different forms!
Golden Retrievers require a great deal of love and commitment. Unlike many other breeds, they are “puppies” for the first 2-3 years of their life. Your puppy will be a “sporting” dog and need LOTS of attention and activity as he or she grows… as the saying goes, “a tired golden is a well behaved golden!” (We encourage every potential buyer to read through the Golden Retriever Club of America’s “Is a Golden Retriever Right for You?” prior to making a decision.)
That said, every puppy is different and some golden puppies, have calmer personalities than others. On our puppy buyer questionnaire, please be sure to indicate the type of personality you’re looking for so we can help connect you with the best puppy for your family.
